The Museum opens to the public with times which varies according to season (see here our opening times). By purchasing the tickets, visitors can see all the Museum rooms, the show at the Planetarium and go to the Observatory (if the weather allows to see through the telescopes). 

The access to the Museum courtyard, the bookshop and to Bar Solaris is free.

Besides the Observatory, there are no architectural barriers in the Museum.

Areas for breast-feeding and diaper changing are also available.

2020/11/02 - Due to Coronavirus emergency, the museum remains closed until further notice. Our staff is working to new online activities to share with you. Keep tuned.

2020/06/14 - Following the rules for the Covid-19 emergency, during openings visitors must wear a mask. In addiction they must book an entry time by filling an online form (see next paragraph).

RULES AND GUIDELINES

  1. In the Museum, in the Planetarium and in the Observatory it is not allowed to smoke, eat and drink.
  2. In case the Museum intends to take photos or videos to visitors, special permission will be expressly requested at the ticket office.
  3. Children and teen-agers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. Dogs are not allowed in the Museum, except for guide dogs or small dogs which will be held in owner’s arms for the entire visit. In any case, dogs are not allowed in the Planetarium nor in the Observatory.
  5. Tickets and badges must be kept during the entire stay in the Museum.
  6. Free entrance for children up to 3 years old and disabled helpers. Junior tickets with 50% discount are for people from 4 to 10 years old and over 65 year old. Reduction tickets with 20% discount are for disabled and owners of fidelity card of Museum partners. Free entrance for children up to 10 years old every fourth Sundays of month. 
  7. Planetarium is not suitable for children up 3 years of age.
  8. The observation through telescopes will be canceled in case of bad weather.
  9. Avoid to open and to close the Planetarium doors during shows. Switch off the mobile phone into the Planetarium room.
  10. During school visits, teachers must control that students follow safety rules and evacuation rules.
  11. The Museum keeps lost objects for 7 days. By this time call the Museum and leave your name and your contact number to receive info to collect them. The Management is not responsible for lost objects in the Museum.
  12. During Covid-19 emergency visitors must wear a mask e respect the 1-meter social distance.
